My precious friend Lacey is an incredible human being who has walked a lot of difficult life terrain the past few years. She has experienced an enormous amount of pain and struggle and yet remains hopeful to life and to love.
After several deep relationship disappointments which led to a move from Woodstock, GA back to her hometown in Perry, GA, Lacey began to find a new purpose in her life. She found her dream job as a professor of nursing, began pursuing her doctorate and made new friends for herself and her twin boys, it seemed that life was looking up. As she continually lived life daily, she happened to meet Chris through mutual friends. They began to talk and slowly realized they knew many of the same people and had much in common, such as leading worship and raising their children.
Lacey says that she knew he was the right one “When he told me he loved me for the first time. He was so sweet and thoughtful and patient. By then I was like “you better love me!” I was crazy about him. Still am”. After nearly a year of dating, Chris proposed on Christmas day 2016, making them both so very happy!
Their wedding was a tender affair, hosted by Lacey’s parents at their home in Perry. Friends and family gathered around Chris & Lacey, loving and supporting them as they start their new life together.
I am so happy for you sweet Lacey, and wish you both years of love and laughter!
