From Netflix and Ozark to Alpharetta
Last year I took a sabbatical from photography and worked on the Netflix show Ozark as a nanny. I took care of the sweetest baby girl and met wonderful people. I learned a lot about the business of show business from my dear employer, who worked as the shows production supervisor. Working alongside her daily was such a joy and I even got to work on research for future episodes. I had no idea what I was getting into when I started the position as I had no experience with TV or film. I quickly learned the days were long and the weeks were longer. Staying at work for 12+ hours and 70+ hour weeks was a norm. It was fun and something to look forward to every day! However, it did take away from photography. The blog has a lot of catching up to do!
